This tour guide takes the traveller on a tour of the Amiens township, located 20 km West of Stanthorpe, SE Qld, pointing out significant points of interest along the way. Amiens was created as part of the Pikedale Soldier Settlement Scheme as a possible location for soldiers returning from WWI to endeavour to make a living. Amiens was a thriving little community in the 1920s and there are some remnants from that era that the traveller can still see today.
